Now Paul and Maggie the one who accidently released them along with the doctor who created them years before must find a way to stop them before they reach the ocean and breed, which successful may end the human race as we know it.

ZEDD'S OPINION:

I liked this movie, I really did. One of the best horror movies of the decade. If I was to make a list of the top 20 films of the 1970's, this would be high up on that list, along with "HUMANOIDS FROM THE DEEP" and on top "JAWS" of course. Not a perfect movie, some of the characters were a tad annoying and the acting did get a wee corny at times.
I GIVE IT...8 STARS

VOLTRON'S OPINION

I hold a fondndess for this one in my heart, I agree with Zedd, but I liked this movie alittle more then he did. I think Roger Corman deserves a pat on the back, proofing that he can make a good movie if he tries hard enough. Which is more then I can say for Ed Wood Jr. or Burt I. Gordon.
I GIVE IT..9 STARS

+ EFFECTS (Not once did the fish look fake)
+ OTHER MONSTERS (The other piranhas hybrids looked interesting)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- CHARACTERS (Some of the human characters did get annoying)

And Finally:

- SOME ACTING (Some of the acting did get a little corny)
