THE PLOT:
Julie, an American on vacation in Mexico, spots a giant, one-eyed octopus rising from the ocean, but when she tries to tell
the authorities, no one believes her. She finally teams up with a marine biologist in an attempt to destroy it.
But the locals believe the creature to be a legendary demon and cannot be killed with human weapons, if that is the case
can she survive?
ZEDD'S OPINION:
This is a real disappointment. For one thing the Octopus monster is seen only 10 percent of the movie. Plus the monster
is kind of lame. It's kind of short at alittle over and hour. But it does have good points.
SO I'M GOING TO GIVE IT 4 STARS
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
Everything Zedd said is right on the money, except the fact that this thing had any good points. The corny dialog, the fact
the monster is not seen allot. If the movie was longer perhaps we would have seen the monster more. Plus being so short
there was no time for back story. No toxic waste canisters or reports of nuclear tests. So how does a octopus become a
monster, don't give me the demon stuff. If that was the case then the ending makes no sense. I think Zedd was way, way too
generous to this Roger Corman loser.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ EFFECTS (What there of them was not bad)
+ MONSTER (The monster is cool)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- MONSTER (The monster is only seen about 10% of the movie)
- WAY TO SHORT (If this was a 90 minute movie instead of 64 minutes then it might have been better)
- ORIGIN (Giant One-Eyed Ocotpuses don't just grow on trees)
- ACTING (The Acting could have been allot better)
And Finally:
- FAN BASED (If you are not big on Roger Corman, then you will not like this)
