ZEDD'S OPINION:
I'm going to be completely honest with you. I'm not a fan of the comic book "MEN IN BLACK". In fact I never even
heard of it before this movie came out. So I have no point of reverence to go by. But I really liked it. The chemestry
between Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. The alien effects, the humor. The writing. Now this movie isn't for everyone and
the ending (without giving anything away) was a tad disappiointing. But still I give it:
8 STARS
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I do agree with Zedd that the ending was a minor disappointment, but it will not effect my opinion. I liked the whole premise
of the movie and I also liked the humor and the wide variety of alien monsters, good and bad. My faverate has to be Jack
Jeebs. Anyway I think it's a perfect movie and I give it:
10 STARS
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ ALIENS (We both were impressed by the aliens and how many differenet kinds they were)
+ EFFECTS (Perfect effects, what more can I say)
+ HUMOR (The humor in this movie was just great, funniest science fiction in a long time)
+ TOMMY LEE JONES AND WILL SMITH (These two should work together in another movie, they have great chemestry)
+ DON'T HAVE TO BE A FAN (You don't need to know anything about the comic book to enjoy this film)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- DISAPPOINTING ENDING (Zedd was alittle disappointed with the ending of the film)
and finally:
- NOT FOR EVERYONE (If you don't like comic book based movies, then this isn't for you)
