THE PLOT:

A space admistration company send up a bunch of animals into orbit to study the effects of cosmic rays (dumb idea # 1). A rocket with wasps in crash lands in Africa with mutant wasp in an area the natives call Green Hell.

The scientist curious about the effects of the cosmic rays set out to find out what happened to the test wasps (dumb idea # 2). Now they need to find a way to stop the monsters that they created.

THE OPINION:

The whole concept is stupid, first, why send wasps into orbit and who cares the effect of cosmic rays on wasps. They were supose to make sure it was safe for man space travel and humans are not insects. It would have more sense to use primates and had giant chimps running around Green Hell. Problem # 2: The wasps design, they looked nothing like Wasps. Maybe in some abstrate nightmare they could called wasps but not in the real world. Finally, you barely see the wasps, most of the movie is the trip to green hell and the stock footage of Africa.
I GIVE IT (1 STAR)

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS)

+ MONSTERS (The designs were kinda of cool even if they didn't look a thing like Wasps)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES)

- CONCEPT (The concept of sending bugs into orbit to see if it's safe for human is the dumbest thing I have ever heard)
- ANATOMICALLY INCORRECT (Just because they mutate does not mean they would change so radically)
- LONG TRIP TO GREEN HELL (Most of the movie was the trip to Green Hell)
- PREDICABLE (I saw the end of the movie coming a mile away)
